RankMyIncome provides free statistical income comparisons for informational and educational use. These terms describe the current service. Updated October 27, 2026.

Estimates, not personal advice

Results use aggregate WID income distributions and interpolation. They are not verified rankings of an individual, salary offers, eligibility decisions or financial, tax, legal or investment advice. Check the population definition, currency and reference year before comparing results. Tier names are presentation labels, not official classifications.

Responsible use

Use the calculators with approximate or hypothetical inputs. Do not submit identity documents, bank details or private financial records through public issue reports. Do not misrepresent a result as an official WID determination or use the service to impersonate others, distribute malicious content or disrupt access.

Data and reuse

Underlying third-party statistics retain their applicable terms. These terms do not grant a separate license to WID data. When quoting a result, identify RankMyIncome, the underlying WID source, income definition and reference year. Read Data Sources and verify source terms before redistribution.

Availability and corrections

The site and datasets can change or become unavailable. Historical estimates may be revised. No guarantee is made that estimates are complete or suitable for a particular decision. These statements do not exclude rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law. Report calculation or content errors through Contact & corrections.

Privacy and external services

Calculator inputs are processed in your browser. Optional local saving and hosting logs are described in the Privacy Policy. External links, including WID and GitHub, lead to services with their own terms and privacy practices. RankMyIncome is independent of WID; see About.
